Washington State with historic win over USC

In one of the bigesst wins in school history, the No. 16 WSU Cougars edged the No. 5 USC Trojans, 30–27 in Pullman friday night. QB Luke Falk went 34 of 51 for 340 yards and threw for two touchdowns.

Anthony Barr, selected 9th overall, is first PAC-12 player taken

The Minnesota Vikings selected UCLA All-American LB Anthony Barr with the ninth overall pick.

Cal football graduation rate abysmal

The NCAA 2011 Graduation Success Rate Report revealed that Cal football players are now graduating at a shocking 54% rate. In the PAC-12, only Arizona had lower graduation rates. CAl football players also lag far behind (57%) the graduate rates for the general student population.
