UCLA basketball coach Mick Cronin embracing big expectations for this season

For the first time since his arrival 2½ years ago, Cronin will be expected to have his team playing on the final weekend of the season.

Oregon basketball parts ways with three basketball players

Three players on the University of Oregon men's basketball team are accused of participating in a sexual assault shortly before the PAC-12 tournament. Dominic Artis, Damyean Dotson and Brandon Austin have been dismissed from the team.

UCLA reaches Sweet-16 for first time in 6 years with win.

The UCLA Bruins overcame the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks 77-60 on Sunday. Guard Norman Powell scored 16 while the team shot a tidy 54.7%. Powell said ihe had the green light, “Coach told me to start dunking the ball”.

Wildcats breeze by Gonzaga to reach Sweet-16

The Arizona Wildcats have that championship look to them. Freshmen Aaron Gordon and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson led the 'cats with 18 points each. Gonzaga coach Mark Few was duly impressed, "That Arizona team we saw tonight was as good a team as we have faced, that I can remember".
